So, you are a happy used of the Cloud, but need more GB to save your files?
This article might just point you in the right direction to get that space!
While there are several excellent companies out there that provide free cloud storage, the truth is most of them only care to give the basic functionalities for the average user. But if you are an avid inhabitant of the digital world, whether for work of for pleasure, you might be already in a situation at which you need some more room to store your files.
First things first: remember that if you google around without being cautious looking for free services, you are exposed to frauds. The most obvious and safe options like DropBox or GDocs are there for you, but give you rather limited free cloud storage. So you need to go a bit beyond that without messing with sites that look suspicious, ask you for detailed information to open your account, or offer you to make money out of sharing files with a program to be installed on your computer. Some of them will only be scams trying to sell any info they manage to get out of you and others. They are simply malicious creations of idle programmers that will affect your files with viruses.
Here you can find two perfectly safe options to go beyond the share of your free cloud storage that most services offer you. The first one is not used with frequency, rather surprisingly if you consider that it is owned by the giant Microsoft. Its Windows Live SkyDrive and it can give you up to 25GB of storage completely free. Of course, there are some limitations (as always preserving the image of Microsofts deficient programming) such as frequent crashes in the servers while downloading and only being able to upload 100MB at a time. The other option is ADrive, which gives you up to 50GB of free cloud storage, and a more generous margin of 2GB to upload at a time.
